I work primarily in soft pencils, dry watercolour pencils, dilute ink, chalk, charcoal and pastels on paper to capture either the artistic essence or the physical likeness of a photograph. I prefer to make my drawings from photos I have taken myself, but where this isn’t possible a customer provided photograph of reasonable quality can also suffice.

I work from my small home studio in southern England. I enjoy all subjects, from fascinating wildlife, classic cars and dynamic aviation scenes to human portraits, pet portraits and nude studies, if you’re interested in my work get in touch.
